Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Program

This program is for students want to study the art of BJJ. It caters for the beginner all the way to the more experienced student. It is also open to those students doing their Phase I Program.

Filipino Martial Arts Program

Filipino Martial Arts or Kali is a program that stems from our training with Guro Inosanto of Los Angeles California. This teaches the use of weaponry but also has a very effective empty hand system that is very suited to self defense and ring sports.

JKD Kickboxing Program

The Jeet Kune Do Kickboxing program is an official JKD program where you can learn Bruce Lee’s kickboxing and street self defense martial art. This is a street aware kickboxing program that will teach how to take care of yourself as well as get fit and gain confidence.

Muay Thai Boxing Program

You can learn authentic Muay Thai Kickboxing at one of the longest standing Muay Thai Academies in the North East of Scotland. We specialise in teaching total beginners. That’s right, even if you have never done martial arts!

Mixed Martial Arts Program

The MMA program combines elements of Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Erik Paulson’s STX and CSW programs. The Head Instructors are certified under Erik Paulson and teach from his official curriculum.

Phase I Program


You start out with Phase I and you don’t need to be fit or athletic to start. You just need to want to improve yourself and reach your goals!

After coming to AMAG for over a year (ladies, phase one and thai), I did my first ever Kali class and absolutely loved it! That was over 5 years ago and I still love it! Kali isnt just about playing with sticks, staffs and knives – it has greatly improved my coordination, my spatial awareness, made me more aware of my body posture and helped to improve my core/upper body strength (whilst exploring a new culture with friends!) AMAG is more than your average gym – its a family, a group of people who will support you and guide your development whether your there to fight, to improve your fitness, loose weight or simply just to see what its all about (like me, and i’m still here 6 years later!)
